Tasting Notes
La Escucha is a cherry red with purple hues. Intense, primary varietal aromas of blackberries and stewed prunes, with a light mineral touch and hints of black licorice against a perfectly integrated, toasted wood background.
Great balance in the mouth, with an enjoyable freshness, and lively and silky tannins leading to a pleasant, aromatic finish of fruits and spices.
Food Pairings
A versatile wine, it pairs perfectly with many dishes: barbecued meats, stews, game, mushrooms, smoked or dried meat, sheep’s cheese, sauteed vegetables, etc.
