In a venture that brings together the Burgundian Bruno Lafon, owner of Domaine Magellan in the Languedoc, and François Chamboissier from Bordeaux in a project in the south of France where they seek out great parcels of fruit.
Made from Pinot Noir grown at vineyards located between 300 and 400 metres in Limoux (Languedoc). While the Languedoc is not generally accepted as ideal for Pinot Noir, Limoux is an exception. The higher elevation, and therefore cooler vineyards, and considerable distance from the Mediterranean, makes the terroir quite different from the rest of the Languedoc. The region is renowned for using the cooler growing zone for sparkling wine production, long before the creation of Champagne.
