Cantine Rallo
Cantine Rallo was founded in Marsala, on the westernmost promontory of Sicily, and is a successful integration between nature, technology and tradition.
Don Diego Rallo founded the firm in 1860, and the Vesco family took over operations in 1996. Today Cantine Rallo has about 50 hectares of vineyards, all of which are in the DOC zone of Alcamo. The majority of wines are produced with grapes from the estate’s own vineyards.
The firm has about 10 thousand hectolitres of steel tanks for storage, half of which are temperature controlled. The wine bottling area, with a capacity of 4,000 bottles per hour, is one of the most modern production lines in the region. The ageing cellar has capacity for about 13,000 hectolitres of oak casks and barriques.
Cantine Rallo produces high quality wines at a very reasonable price. The whites are fragrant and fruity, while the reds are concentrated and rich.
