Vinos del Paseante

Our partners at Codorniu have been developing an interesting project called Vinos del Paseante – or Wines of the Walker. They are building out a line of wines that are targeted to precisely represent all that is good about a varietal and the region from which they are obtained. In essence it is to develop a balanced wine which personifies the relative terroir.

They have 5 wines covering 5 regions:

Le Escucha (Mencia from Bierzo);
La Pelea (Tempranillo from Rioja);
La Gresca (Macabeo, Xarello, Parellada from Cava areas);
El Pispa (Garnacha from Montsant);
La Charla (Verdejo from Rueda).
