Tasting Notes

This is a truly exceptional wine from a highly regarded estate. It has fruity aromas of gooseberry, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and melon, wrapped around intense spicy scents of sage, anisette, box wood, fig leaves, tomato leaves and grapefruit. Very long finish with lingering mango and gooseberry.

The ‘Ronco delle Mele’ Sauvignon wine is now one of the most acclaimed and awarded white wines in Italy, and has become a true symbol of Venica & Venica.

Food Pairings

a variety of dishes due to its liveliness, acidity, and aromatic profile. Excellent with shellfish, as well as fresh or slightly aged goat cheeses. Try it with a shrimp and orange-scented risotto, a leek and wild garlic velouté, or dishes featuring green asparagus.
