Always an exceptional value, the 2021 Font de Courtedune Cotes du Rhone Vieilles Vignes is elaborated in the same fashion as their Châteauneuf du Pape that sells for more than twice the price! A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah from vineyards that are over 40 years old, this wine really delivers.
A bright ruby colour with violet reflections, the bouquet beguiles with scents of cracked black pepper, plum, cassis and garrigue. The palate is lively and lush with dark fruit flavours and subtle spice notes ending with a beautiful harmony. This is a Côtes du Rhône wine perfectly suited to a wide variety of dishes, but particularly meat and vegetables hot from the grill!
