With the arrival of February, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we have put together a special mixed case to celebrate the occasion. This case includes pink sparkling, white, rose and red, so we cover all the bases. It is a 12 pack as Valentine’s Day should not be limited to one day! Everything you need is here to compliment whatever delicious meal you have planned for your celebration of love.

N/V Codorniu, Cuvée Barcelona 1872 Brut Rosé
Cuvée Barcelona 1872 Brut Rosé pays tribute to Codorniu origins, commemorating the year in which Josep Raventos crafted the first bottle of Cava. This exceptional Cava is draped in a bottle inspired by Spain’s famous modernist stained glass windows of Gaudi.
Made using the Traditional Method of sparkling wine production (as in Champagne), this is an exceptional bubbly. Pale pink, with a fine elegant mousse. Vibrant, fruity aromas with notes of red fruit, citrus and brioche from aging. In the mouth, an expressive, creamy mouth-feel with fine, very well integrated bubbles, fresh and rounded on the palate. Perfect as an aperitif or with cold hors d’oeuvres of oysters, smoked salmon or caviar.
2020 Tunella, Pinot Grigio
The wine has an intense straw yellow color, evolving to a richer yellow with aging. It has a fruity and fragrant nose evoking aromas of warm bread crust and intense perfume of acacia blossom and ripe tropical fruit. The palate echoes the nose and is elegant, medium-bodied with moderate acidity and delicate hints of yeast. A wine with a decisive character. Excellent with sliced Parma ham, white fish and chicken dishes.
2020 Baudry-Dutour, Cuvée Marie Justine Chinon Rosé
Salmon-hued colour, intense nose of exotic fruits with aromas of peach and citrus. In the mouth the wine is dry but exhibits very good fruit concentration. Crisp and refreshing yet complex, this rosé serves to elevate the experience of white wine drinkers and to convince red wine drinkers that they should expand their horizons. Makes a superb aperitif and pairs well with a wide variety of fish and shellfish dishes.
2019 Luigi Righetti, Valpolicella Ripasso Selezione
This is Luigi Righetti’s premium Ripasso, which is a selection of the best Valpolicella which is then macerated for 14 days on the pressings from the Amarone. The sugars in the Amarone skins trigger a second fermentation, boosting the alcohol a bit and contributing rich, dried fruit flavours to the finished wine. It is then aged in small oak barrels for smoothness and added notes of vanilla and spice. Quite a versatile wine at the table, it compliments everything from meaty fish in tomato sauce to beef filet steaks or even rack of lamb.
