Alovini

Oronzo Alo was captivated by the wild, mountainous, volcanic soils of Basilicata. In the late 1980’s he left Puglia to work with a couple of cooperatives in Basilicata. As luck would have it, he had the good fortune to work with renowned winemaker Jacques Lurton during this period. In 2003, Oronzo started to work on his own project – Alovini – with the intention of marrying the rugged beauty of Basilicata with the precision of modern winemaking.
