Tasting Notes
This is a luscious Champagne composed mostly from the 2018 vintage which rested on lees for 6 years. 40% of the blend is the result of adding reserve wine from the 2017 vintage. Aromas of yellow fruits (plum and apricot) and brioche, while the palate reveals freshness, good acidity, and notes of red grapefruit and kumquat. Very fine mousse; great length.
The house style emphasizes fruit purity, freshness, and supple texture—a true reflection of the Marne Valley and of an independent family that has cultivated the same land for four generations. For buyers, Veuve Olivier et Fils represents the precision and personality of grower Champagne along with exceptional value.
40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier.
Food Pairings
Perfect either as an aperitif or to accompany, elegant foods such as oysters, caviar, and shellfish, or enjoy it with rich, salty snacks like aged cheeses and fried chicken
Third Party Reviews
A characterful Champagne born from a balanced blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, with a proportion of reserve wines. This is an expressive cuvée, to be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany a meal.
