Shiraz

The name Shiraz became popular for the Syrah grape variety in Australia, where it has long been established as the most grown dark-skinned variety. Nowadays, Shiraz is generally the name given to more fruit-forward, spicy styles of Syrah, especially in Australia but also occasionally in South Africa.

  • Six Rows Shiraz 2020

    Medium/dark red with a vibrant purple hue. The nose has a lifted bouquet with the Shiraz fruit expressing hints of plum, clove and pepper. Notes of vanilla and mocha have been added from the use of oak. On the palate the fruit from the nose folows with the luscious flavours of plum and vanilla giving the wine a long, lingering finish.
