Tacchino

The Tacchino winery makes its home in Castelletto d’Orba, in Piemonte’s Alto Monferrato. Established in the middle of the 1900’s and covering an area of about 25 hectares (half under vine), the property is now under the stewardship of third generation brother and sister team Romina and Alessio Tacchino. They inherited the passion for these lands from father Luigi, and grandfather, and winery founder, Carletto.

The winery logo takes its inspiration from their name, Tacchino, which is the Italian word for “turkey” and is represented by the stylized “tail feathers” on the label. In addition, the vines depicted on the label are the actual vines which produce the wine.
