Pratello

Pratello is a winery located in the Lombardy region of northern Italy, near the shores of Lake Garda. The winery was established in 1860 and has been owned and operated by the Bertola family for over four generations.

The winery’s vineyards are situated on rolling hills and clay soils, which provide ideal growing conditions for the Turbiana grape variety. In addition to Turbiana, the winery also grows other grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sangiovese.

Pratello is committed to sustainable and organic farming practices, and all of their vineyards are certified organic by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture. The winery uses natural fertilizers and avoids the use of synthetic chemicals and pesticides.

Pratello produces a range of wines, including their flagship Lugana “Catulliano” made with 100% Turbiana grapes, as well as red wines like their “Mille 1” blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery also produces a limited quantity of sparkling wines and olive oil.

Pratello is a family-owned winery that is dedicated to producing high-quality wines using sustainable and organic farming practices. Their wines showcase the unique terroir of the Lugana region and are a testament to the winery’s commitment to quality and tradition.
