Tasting Notes
Made from sustainably farmed and hand-picked Alicante Bouschet, Castelão, Sousão and Tinta Míuda, with the denomination IGP Tejo. About 10% was matured in second use French barrels.
Intense ruby color. Clean and deep aromas, where the forest fruits stand out against nuances of dark chocolate. Balanced palate dominated by fine acidity and well-matched quality tannins, finishing with an unctuous feel and very good length.
Food Pairings
Enjoy with rare steaks, grilled chicken, veal and soft cheeses
Third Party Reviews
A blend of four grapes, the wine has a solid texture of tannins and ripe black fruits. Smoky and spicy, the wine is warm with sunshine and rich fruits. The acidity keeps the exuberance in check. Drink now. Best Buy, Score 89, Wine Enthusiast, Dec 2019
