Tasting Notes

After many decades of trying to find it’s wine identity, Chile has made significant strides in producing quality wines. Witness Terranoble’s significant evolution over this time!

This mixed case is comprised on 3 single varietal wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere. The 12 bottle case hold 4 bottles of each of the 3 wines. Case price $270; Avg. bottle price $22.50

Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2022- Casablanca Valley

Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc harvested from the Casablanca Valley. This wine is straw yellow with greenish tones. This Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of tropical fruits, grapefruits, and subtle herbal notes. The wine finishes with a touch of peach notes. The freshness of this Sauvignon Blanc is meant to drink now. Ideal as an aperitif, or with seafood, and Paella.

Carmenere Reserva Especial 2020- Colchagua Valley

The nose is highly complex, with ripe black fruits, spicy notes, and soft hints of bitter, soft chocolate as a result from its aging in French oak barrels. The palate has a freshness to it and is concentrated with round tannins and a balanced acidity to the finish.

This wine is well structured and full-bodied with smooth tannins and a long finish. Drink now or within the next 7 years. Ideal with lamb, short ribs, risotto, and spicy cuisine.

Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Especial 2020 – Colchagua Valley

The Colchagua Valley is also considered by many to be the “Napa Valley” of South America. Cabernet Sauvignon vines were first planted in Chile during the 19th century. Arriving from Bordeaux, the grape flourished in the sunny Chilean climate and quickly became the most planted variety in the country.

There is a wonderful richness and concentration with this Cabernet Sauvignon. It stands out for its ruby red colour with notes of cherries, slight pepper, and a delicate chocolate note on the finish. 30% of new French oak is used. A balanced and easy wine to drink. Drink now or cellar for the next 3-4 years.
