Bodegas Bilbainas, “Viña Pomal” Rioja Crianza 2020 (Rioja, Spain):
Fresh, intense nose dominated by aromas of juicy black cherry, Mediterranean herbs along with pleasant licorice notes. Vanilla and toasted flavours come through from its 12 months in oak (15% new). The palate is classic Rioja – balanced, soft and displaying considerable concentration. Good structure and well integrated tannins, make it food friendly but also very enjoyable to drink on its own. Produced from 100% Tempranillo. (14.5% alc. 1.1 gr/l RS)

Parkers Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (California):
A dark purple colour in the glass, the bouquet shows distinct notes of black cherry, raspberry, pomegranate with hints of clove and vanilla. These flavours carry over to the generous palate with well managed tannins and a lingering finish. Fermented in stainless steel for 14 days before being transferred to French oak barrels where it matured for 16 months. (13.5% alc.)

Gaia, “Notios” Red 2023 (Nemea, Greece):
Notios, meaning “from the South”, is a delightful dark violet colour in the glass. The bouquet is aromatic and intense with notes of blackberry, raspberry and spicy pepper from the Syrah. The palate is bright and full of red fruit notes with soft and approachable tannins. Mostly native Greek Agiorgitiko (St. George in English) with a touch of Syrah (15%). The wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel vats in order to preserve the vibrant and fruity aromas.(13% alc. 2.75 gr/l RS)

Sandhill, Syrah 2021 (Okanagan Valley, British Columbia):
This deep purple Syrah displays aromas of black cherry, leather, earth, spice box and vanilla oak. The palate is rich and dry with flavours of black currant, coffee, smoke and spice. After fermentation, it was matured for a period of 14 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. (13.3% alc. 3 gr/l RS)

Septima, Malbec 2023 (Mendoza, Argentina):
This Malbec is fruit forward offering black plum, cherry and blackberry along with subtle vanilla notes. It shows an optimal balance of acidity and alcohol delivering fine and elegant tannins with a long finish. Matured in stainless steel tanks, 10% of the wine is aged for 8 months in new French and American oak barrels. (14% alc. 1.85 gr/l RS)

Alias, Pinot Noir 2022 (California):
Sourced from California Central Coast vineyards, this Pinot Noir offers up generous flavours and aromas of cherry, strawberry, rhubarb pie, black pepper and allspice. The wine has a classic California profile in the mouth with silky tannins, balanced by mouthwatering acidity. It would make a perfect pairing for turkey with cranberry sauce. (13.7% alc)
