Château Beauregard Ducasse Grave Blanc 2021

Produced from a blend of 50% Sauvignon and 50% Semillon grapes that were all hand harvested and then gently pressed. Maturation was in stainless steel tanks for 8 months to preserve the varietal aromas.

The GravesBlanc is a wonderfully fresh and fruity dry white wine that displays aromas of white flowers, pineapple, peach and tangerine from the Sauvignon. The Semillon gives the wine a terrific roundness and intensity in the mouth, providing hints of honey, lemon and almond notes on the lingering finish. While very pleasant now, this wine will gain added complexity with short term cellaring.

Château du Courlat Rosé 2021

Produced from Cabernet Franc planted in clay hillside vineyards of about 25 years of age

The pale pink colour belays a wine characterized by notes of strawberry, raspberry and rose petals with hints of lemon, white flowers, lychee and a subtle vanilla note from the oak barrels. We were impressed with the full and rounded mouthfeel of this rosé showing great balance, finesse and intensity.

Château du Courlat “Cuvée Jean-Baptiste” Lussac Saint-Emilion.

Hailing from Lussac Saint-Émilion, which is a sub-region in the northern part of the Saint-Émilion appellation. 100% Merlot crafted from a selection of the estate’s best grapes grown on clay-loam soils. Precise vine training is carried out to allow the cool terroir to fully express itself in the structure of the wine. The grapes are hand harvested and rigorously sorted prior to entering the fermentation vats where pumping over occurs and maceration on the skins for about 30 days. The wine is then matured in fine grained French oak barrels 30% new) for 15 months. A very rich and plush wine on the palate, it displays complex aromas of plum, blackberry and Asian spice notes. While drinking very nicely now, it has a bright future ahead of it.
