Tasting Notes
pale, cherry red coloured wine which shows distinct aromas of strawberry jam, ripe raspberries, violets, tea and spice. The palate is very juicy and refined with notes of red fruits and underbrush and a lingering, mouth watering finish. This is a great summertime red that won’t weigh you down at the table. It is best enjoyed lightly chilled (between 13 and 16 degrees).
Food Pairings
Terrines, charcuterie, steak tartare, chicken with morel mushroom sauce, seafood stews, pork sausages, Comté cheese (which is also from this region)
