Tasting Notes
Made with 100% Tempranillo (here called Tinta Fino), this young wine is made with just 3 months of aging in American oak to keep the prominent fruit fresh. We were so impressed by this wine. On the nose, the variety’s typical fresh red fruit aromas are complemented with fine toasty nuances of coconut and vanilla from the barrel. Concentrated, well-balanced and round in the mouth. Just delicious and drinkable. This is a good wine to keep you from dipping into more expensive wines during the week!
Food Pairings
Cured meats, white meats and creamy cheeses
Third Party Reviews
Lots of crushed berries with loads of fruit and spices on the palate. Full and flavorful. A big wine that needs some time, but a fun mouthful here. Score 92, James Suckling, July 2019
