Tasting Notes

This domaine has been in the family for 11 generations and works some of the most beautiful vineyards in the Cote du Beaune. They have chosen to work “lutte raisonee”, using fertilizers and pesticides only when absolutely required.

A fine and elegant village wine. It has all the characteristics of a Volnay, that is it has aromas of violet, cherry, and – with age – spices, game and cooked prune. It has an immediate appeal which means it can be fully open while still relatively young.
