Tasting Notes
The Domaine la Roubine Sablet La Grange des Briguières is composed of 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Cinsault all hand-picked from the small 5 hectare lot in Sablet owned by Eric and Sophie Ughetto. They use low impact viticulture methods to insure the intergenerational success of the family domaine. There is no added yeasts, no filtration and no fining with this wine. It is a pure expression of the terroir. Spiced red fruits, red currants, strawberries, lavender and star anise with a lengthy savoury finish. The great refreshing acidity and nice powdery tannins will help the wine age with grace. This wine is definitely a must buy for Southern Rhône fans as it offers great value.
