Colognole Chianti Rufina 2016
An elegant, velvety, and age-worthy wine coming from some of the highest elevation vineyards in the Chianti region. Cherry fruit on the nose with darker fruit, light spice and earth on the palate. An inviting wine with velvety tannins and balanced acidity flawlessly married to just enough oak. A perfect wine for the first courses. Also great with pizza and pasta.
Castello di Verrazzano Chianti Classico 2017
An original Chianti Classico style imagined by one of the founders of the Consorzio del Vino Chianti Classico. Red ruby robe with purplish reflections in its youth. Intense and fruity aromas of cherry and blackberry with hints of delicate red roses. A well-balanced wine that surprises the palette with a subtle savoury hint of oak. A match made in heaven with Mediterranean flavours.
Biondi Santi Braccale IGT Maremma 2017
A blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot, this wine has a nose of blackberries, spice and licorice. Medium-bodied and smoothly textured on the palette, its juicy black currant integrates nicely with clean notes of tobacco and cedar. Exceptional with white meat or medium aged cheeses.
La Togata Rosso di Montalcino Jacopus 2018
Nicknamed “baby Brunello”, the Rosso is made using same grapes that goes into the powerful and austere Brunello, but with a shorter aging period. It has aromas of fresh cherries, black currants and spices. Vibrant red fruits, roses and peonies dominate the palette, while lively tannins provide structure. An excellent wine to pair with rich foods.
