Tasting Notes
The 2015 Château Courlat Lussac Saint-Émilion is a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and is matured in a combination of 35% stainless steel, 35% concrete vats and 30% first and second use French oak barrels. Expect a dark purple wine with open and forward aromas of sweet plum and red berries with a hint of vanilla. The wine is plush and round in the mouth displaying lingering ripe cherry, strawberry, cassis and red licorice flavours. 2015 was considered an excellent vintage in the region producing rich, harmonious and well-structured wines suitable for medium term aging.
