Tasting Notes
The 2020 Château Courlat Lussac Saint-Émilion is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc and is matured in a combination of 35% stainless steel, 35% concrete vats and 30% first and second use French oak barrels. Expect a dark purple wine with open and forward aromas of sweet plum, red berries and a hint of vanilla. The wine is plush and round in the mouth with lingering black cherry, cassis, dark chocolate and cedar notes. It will continue to develop in the bottle over the next decade.
