Tasting Notes
Pale straw in colour. On the nose, bright, fresh and lifted with distinctive melon, kiwi and grassy notes. Clean and beautifully structured with hints of citrus and honey and fine balanced acidity. An admirable effort!
Food Pairings
Seafood, salads and goat cheese
Third Party Reviews
The pungent and intensely aromatic 2019 Cartagena Sauvignon Blanc showcases the house style of fresh and sharp coastal wines with moderate alcohol and a serious mouthfeel. Their vineyards were planted 20 years ago and are only four kilometers away from the ocean. The wines have a clear marine influence, and the climate is softened by the proximity of the water. The aromas are herbal, marine, varietal and very clean and focused. Score 91, www.eRobertParker.com, March 2020
