Tasting Notes
This is a mixed case that will have you begging “please sir, can I have some more”. Three bottles of each of the following:
Terranoble Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva Especiale
From the Colchagua Valley, considered to be Chile’s Napa. Red berries, smoke, chocolate and pure fruit dominate the nose. An intense and exquisite wine.
Kingston Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
From Australia’s premium Clare Valley, this is a deep red wine with aromas of blackcurrant fruits, complemented by herbaceous mint and layers of toasty oak. The palate abounds with ripe dark fruits, lifted spice and firm tannins.
James Mitchell Cabernet Sauvignon
From California’s Lodi region this is robust and flavourful. Ripe blackberry and dark cherry, warm spice, smoky mocha and vanilla from oak aging. The tannins are well-integrated and the finish is nice and long.
Graceland Cabernet Sauvignon
Blackcurrant spice, cranberry and cassis on the palate. Pleasant fine tannin finish with understated structure. A well defined, European style Cabernet, from Stellenbosch, South Africa.
