This wine brings together Pinot Noir from three distinct terrains along Oregon’s premiere Western vineyards. The diversity of these cool climate areas combined with an elongated growing season creates wine with intensity of fruit flavor, structure, and a fresh vibrant acidity. This is a bespoke rosé where grapes were grown and harvested with the specific intention of making rosé; and not a saignée rosé, which can be a by-product of making red wine. This wine should be enjoyed well-chilled. It is finished with a screwcap to preserve the crisp, clean aromas and tastes. Read Less

It has rich, chewy dark fruit, ripe tannins, yet finishes very dry and clean. Remarkably, this wine was aged a full 1.5 years before release, a very rare and determined decision for a non-riserva Chianti -- and the results show in the bottle. Smooth, black-cherry and sweet tobacco linger on a faint, pleasant finish that is touched off by just the right hint of oak. Lovely. Read Less

Given the evident climatic differences throughout the narrow territory of Chile, Terranoble wanted to explore this diversity in the CA project: 100% Carmenere that, under similar conditions of vinification, production and aging, show different characteristics based on the influence of either the Andes or the Coast. The CA1 comes from the Los Lingues vineyard in the Andes section of the Colchagua Valley. 85% of the wine was aged in new and twice used French oak barrels, and 15% in untoasted foudres for 14 months. This wine shows an enticing profile, with fresh and intense aromas of red fruits, some notes of herbs and red bell-pepper, characteristic of the variety, as well as mild and refined touches of oak to enhance its fruit and add complexity. The backbone of this Cabernet Sauvignon is derived from the Truchard Vineyard in Carneros, with vineyard sites extending into the lower hillsides of the Mayacamas mountain range. The balance of fruit is sourced from the Suseri Vineyard in Chiles Valley, adding layers of rich fruit to the palate. The small berry clusters and intense fruit from low-yielding vines create a wine with full flavor and longevity. The grapes were hand picked at optimum ripeness. Following destemming, the grapes were stainless steel fermented and received extended skin contact before being transferred to barrels. The wine was aged in small French oak barrels for 20 months (35% new barrels) where the wine completed malolactic fermentation. The wine was racked prior to bottling. Full-throttle character with lots of generous, ripe fruit. The layers of juicy, dark fruit have rich undertones of cocoa and vanilla, and lead to a lingering finish with silky tannins. Read Less

Pinot Noir has long been a passion of Alex Zahel´s — his enthusiasm shows in this crisp, fruit forward expression of the varietal. The wine is produced from French clones (115,114) from Burgundy, planted in the prime single vineyard Sätzen, located in the city’s southwestern corner. Here, you’ll find a soil structure composed and sandstone in the top layers, with pure limestone below. After biodynamic cultivation and hand harvest, the juice is allowed to ferment spontaneously in 225l French (Chassin) and Austrian (Stockinger) oak barrels. After about two weeks in barrel, the wine is moved to large stainless steel tanks where it remains for another 8 months before bottling. Served well chilled. Read Less
